Hello @createshare-7115,
Thank you for posting here.
Hope the information provided by DSPatrick is helpful to you.
And the answer provided by DSPatrick is one option for you.
And here is another option for your reference.
You can change the registry above on this member server from NT5DS to NTP.
Path: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\W32Time\Parameters\Type
Key Name: Type
Type: REG_SZ(String Value)
Data: NT5DS
And If the following registry on this member server is configured, time on this member server will sync with NTP server (for example: time.windows.com,0x9), if the following registry on this member server is not configured, time on this member server will sync with its built-in complementary metal oxide semiconductor (CMOS) clock.
Path: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\W32Time\Parameters
Key Name: NtpServer
Type: REG_SZ(String Value)
Data: Peers (time.windows.com,0x9)
Hope the information above is also helpful.
Should you have any question or concern, please feel free to let us know.
Best Regards,
Daisy Zhou

I tried both the suggestions but the clock is automatically going back to the same settings.
Just checking if there's any progress or updates?

We had to fix the time on our main dc to resolve it. If it happens again then I will disable the sync option in virtual machine settings.
Thanks.
