Win 10 Start menu, App icon are too small

I just finished reinstalling Windows 10 on a Desktop PC. After also installing Office 365, I noticed that the icons on the Start menu related to Office are extremely small. How can I make these icons the same size as the others, for example, like the MS Edge icon?

Note that only the icon is tiny. The square surrounding it is just the right size. See image. Saga

Two things come to mind. The first thing is that it is in a group. If you drag one icon on top of another in the Start screen it creates a group and shows the miniature icons within that. Click on the icon. If it is a group then it'll expand out instead of starting the app. Drag the icon out of the group onto the Start screen to fix it.

The second thing that comes to mind is that the image sizing is messed up, not an uncommon problem. Right click the icon and change the size to something else and then change it back to normal to see if it resets it.

Thank @cooldadtx . After doing some research I found that MS installed PWA, Progressive Web Apps along with the full fledged Office Apps and placed the WPAs' icons in the start menu. These icons are much smaller. Apparently, these new apps run in the MS Edge browser. I went to Programs and Features and uninstalled them. I them went into the list of available apps and found the corresponding entries for Word, PowerPoint and Excel. Moved those to the Start menu and problem solved.

Using the right click method and selecting Resize does not affect the icon. They stayed small. That was the first thing I tried. It did make the square where the icon is located larger or smaller, depending on the option selected.

Again, thanks!

Hi,
These Office PWAs are web-based app versions that look and behave like native Windows apps but open and work inside a browser window. As you said, the issue is related to PWA. As the picture displayed in the link below:

Hope this helps and please help to accept as Answer if the response is useful.
