Hello @DerekMeier-7099 ,
Thanks for your query.
You are eligible to access FSLogix Profile Container, Office 365 Container, Application Masking, and Java Redirection tools if you have one of the following licenses:
Microsoft 365 E3/E5
Microsoft 365 A3/A5/ Student Use Benefits
Microsoft 365 F1/F3
Microsoft 365 Business
Windows 10 Enterprise E3/E5
Windows 10 Education A3/A5
Windows 10 VDA per user
Remote Desktop Services (RDS) Client Access License (CAL)
Remote Desktop Services (RDS) Subscriber Access License (SAL)
FSLogix solutions may be used in any public or private data center, as long as a user is properly licensed. FSLogix tools operate on all operating systems newer than, and including:
Desktop - Windows 7
Server - 2008 R2
FSLogix solutions support both 32 bit and 64 bit where applicable
In no instance are FSLogix solutions supported in an environment that is not supported by Microsoft, or the original software or equipment vendor
FSLogix solutions may have unique integration and advantages when used in conjunction with Windows Virtual Desktop.
I'll make further confirmation with our License team about your question. Thanks for your cooperation!

Leila

Would 365 G3 or G5 be equivalent to E3 and E5? If not is there a way we can purchase license for it?
Thanks
Derek
Hello @DerekMeier-7099 ,
As for your first question: Do GCC Cloud licenses allow the use of FSlogix?
No, FSLogix was included in the Programs under Windows Desktop and Windows Server. This was added to the June 2019 Product Terms.
Even thought that this language had been removed from Windows Server in the current Product Terms, this use right still applies.
Windows Desktop Operating System: https://www.microsoftvolumelicensing.com/ProductResults.aspx?doc=Product%20Terms,OST&fid=101
FSLogix Software
Users licensed for Microsoft 365 Business, A3, A5, F1, E3, E5, Windows E3, E5, A3, A5 and VDA E3, E5 may use the following FSLogix software: Profile Container, Office Container, Java Version Control, Application Masking, and Application File Containers.
Hello @DerekMeier-7099 ,
You still need to have the required licenses.
If the Azure Virtual Desktop solution is based on Windows 10 Multi-session, the Virtual machine is licensed automatically by the Azure KMS and we are not enforcing a license check so every user can connect without limitations. As stated in the official documentation, in order to be compliant, every user needs to own a VDA license (that is included in Microsoft 365 E3, E5...)
There is no actual checking to determine what license the end user has, unlike when using things like Office 365. The list above is the correct list of required licenses the customer must have, as per the below in order to conform to the licensing requirements.
