iscsi initiator

Hi,

We have a host with server 2012 R2 that is connected to some volumes on our SAN with iscsi initiator, now we want to connect the same server to a different device that has a virtual tape library through iscsi initiator with different IP address. Can we connect to 2 different devices with 2 different IP address with iscsi initiator and access both devices?

Hi,
Yes, we can connect 2 different devices with different IP addresses with iscsi initiator and access both devices. For powershell commands, here’s some reference:

Yes you can connect multiple/different devices to your iSCSI Initiator.

As mentioned, iSCSI targets from different servers/SANs can be connected via iSCSI initiator. The following guide might help automating the process:
