Bitlocker - Encryption report Intune

Hello,

I have a device that has been encrypted by a Bitlocker policy. This device shows up in the Encryption report, however, while the Encryption readiness column shows Ready, and the Device encryption has been completed for 24hrs the status still shows as Not encrypted. Bitlocker keys are present, Profile state summary shows succeeded, and Status details show Succeeded.

Any thoughts on why the Encryption status still shows Not encrypted? Last sync was today 6/22/21 @ 3:00pm EST.

Thanks,
Tom

@ThomasMee-4079 For better understanding the issue are you referring to Azure disk encryption?
Can you share the screenshot of the status?

Sometimes Data Disk encryption status shows as Not Enabled in the portal, even if it is enabled. In that case, validate the disk encryption status using PowerShell and within the OS. To reflect the data disk encryption status Enabled in the portal, you might need to stop and start the Azure VM.https://social.technet.microsoft.com/wiki/contents/articles/53496.azure-disk-encryption-configure-for-azure-windows-vms.aspx

Hello Sumarigo,

No this is not Azure-disk-encryption, this is just a company owned laptop that we have setup a Bitlocker policy for. Apologies for the wrong tag, The Bitlocker policy is working as expected, however I will look at the documentation that you referenced for the Bitlocker policies in Microsoft Intune (Thank you). As of this morning the Encryption report is still showing as Not encrypted.
