HLK and the problem "Selected machine pool does not contain any targers of this type"

Hi MS community,

I am trying to perform a system test with HLK. I have done a straigtforward installation of HLK to test windows 2019 system.
I am using a domain setup:

Single DC
Single test server (Controller + studio) Windows HLK, version 1809
Test clients

When i install the client software on the test system i can see them in the HLK Studio in the default pool i can move them to a new pool and set them to active but then
When i click on systems and try to selet a test target for the test i get "Selected machine pool does not contain any targers of this type".
The studio and the controller software run on a single server that is a MS 2016 Server standard.
What am i doing wrong?

I have already redeployed the whole testing environment a couple of thimes and cannot get the expected results.

I followed the link and found out that the support forums have been moved to Microsoft Q&A
https://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/home?forum=whck

So where to post a question ?

Hi,

Many thanks for your update.

I consulted with our develop support engineer and he responded that Windows hardware testing currently is not supported in Q&A platform. If the issue is also related windows hardware certification, I would suggest you could post this thread in the following forum with corresponded tag "windows-hardware-certificate":

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/answers/topics/windows-hardware-certification.html

If the issue is more related to HLK, you could contact Microsoft via the following link with required information:

Best Regards,
Sunny
