Hi @aman-singh

There is a problem regarding this announcement, which is the same as the question of what precedes what, the chicken or the egg

People that have this issue cannot see this announcement, since they are stuck in the loop and the page is not loading for them, therefore, they cannot see this introductions on how to work around the issue.

These who can see this announcement do not need it probably since their page was loaded well 😕

@pituach - We understand the challenge here with the loop, there were 2 separate issues that we had to mitigate. The workaround does work now once we got the initial redirect loop workflow corrected.

Users should no longer see the loop and should be able to see the sticky note without any issues.

This issue is now resolved and we are monitoring all scenarios actively to ensure that customers are not getting any other errors. Please feel free to raise any concerns in the feedback section for this particular issue, we will track any additional issues under the Feedback section.

Then why not put info on the home page? Before people can log in?

I know it might be easier said than done, but if MS can create an operating system, they can make this happen in a single home page, right? :-)

Hi,

MS can create an operating system, they can make this happen in a single home page

Not relevant. Not the same teams, not the manpower, and not the same resources

why not put info on the home page? Before people can log in?

I am pretty sure that most existing users (like myself) do not use the home page but directly go the questions page. In my browser for example, I only type "doc" and the browser fill the address to the questions page https://docs.microsoft.com/answers. Therefore this will not help these users

With that being said, it is a good idea, since it might help some users

Note: we need to remember that new users do not have this issue since it is related to the client (browser) cache

I agree it is a good idea to put these type of issues in the home page. We are also looking at other ways to let users know when having a sticky post is not always effective.

Also, crossed fingers, we think we found a permanent solution that we will deploy next week. So hopefully this endless signing loop does not happen again. Thank you for your patience!
