Hi all,
I'm a Salesforce developer and I'm asked to do an integration between Salesforce and SAP B1 with Azure Logic Apps.
Is SAP B1 supported by the SAP Connector?
Thanks for your help.

Hi
The Service Layer is a SAP add-on to B1 as I understand it. We have a partner that provides B1 and they setup the Service Layer for me. However there are no triggers from the SAP side. What you could do however is run a logic app on a reoccurrence schedule and filter the ODATA to give you accounts or contacts that were created since the last run of the LA. It's not an elegant solution but there is nothing on the Service Layer that will invoke a trigger.
OK. thanks Jon. This was very helpful.
Have a great weekend and greetings from Germany.

Hi
This might not be relevant to your project but I have used the SAP Service Layer to get Logic Apps to connect to B1. The Service Layer gives you an ODATA API.

Hi Jon,
thanks for your reply. Could you elaborate this a bit for me? I'm not familiar with SAP. Is the Service layer part of SAP B1 or an additional tool?
What I would need is a trigger which fires, whenever an account or a contact is created or updated in SAP B1.
Thanks again.
Rainer
