Windows 2012R2 RDS Problem (GP)

We have two identical RDS farms (based 2012R2). One of them has problem with printers group policy - during user login, printers GP processing is very slow (~1-2 min). Another farm has no such problem. Printers GP setting, printers models, drivers versions are the same on both farms.

So what could be the issue? And how to debug it?

Thanks in advance!

The problem has been resolved by disabling SNMP status of printers

Hello @AlexeyAstafyev-8169 ,

Thanks for your query.

1.Is there any other difference between these two RDS farms?
2.What's the error message showing when processing printers group policy during user login?
3.How did you configure the printers group policies?
4.What about changing all of the printer mappings in GPP to "Update"? https://serverfault.com/questions/476876/extremely-slow-login-group-policy-printers
5.There're several ways to diagnose the slow Group Policy processing on the domain computers: http://woshub.com/troubleshoot-slow-gpo-processing-and-login-speed-impact/

1.Is there any other difference between these two RDS farms?

Yes, I forgot to mention that the affected farm is located on a remote site with its DC and print-server. The remote site is connected to headquarters through IPSec.

2.What's the error message showing when processing printers group policy during user login?

Nothing

3.How did you configure the printers group policies?

it's simple GPO with 'Update' the shared printers

4.What about changing all of the printer mappings in GPP to "Update"?

We always use this option only.

5.There're several ways to diagnose the slow Group Policy processing on the domain computers:

I've already seen this article, but I couldn't find any useful things for our issue. In any case I'll re-check recommendations of the article.
