WHOIS - doesn't work for German DE domains

Would you please consider adding functionality to enable WHOIS queries to German DE domains?
The root of the problems seems to be that DENIC (the German domain registry) does not implement ICANN's specifications but requires that WHOIS requests conform to their own ones.

Their (English language) description can be found here:

https://www.denic.de/en/service/whois-service/

It is very short, so I'll quote it:
"To query the technical data and the date of the last change to the domain data please use "whois -h whois.denic.de -T dn <domain.de>"

Shouldn't be too difficult to implement from the technical side.

Please help that Windows users can request at least some information about German internet domains.

Have a nice day

Following the implementation of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), significant modifications have been instituted in the manner in which registration data access is managed. This overhaul primarily stems from heightened privacy concerns. Under the purview of the Internet Corporation of Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN), registries are now mandated to uphold stringent privacy measures while maintaining the requisite disclosure of essential information.

The Domain WHOIS lookup service is instrumental in furnishing comprehensive WHOIS information for over 1,425 top-level domains (TLDs), encompassing TLD {.de}. To facilitate these critical data inquiries, the WHOIS API offers a suite of application programming interfaces (APIs) that cater to both historical WHOIS data retrieval and reverse WHOIS search functionality.

In adherence to the GDPR and related privacy regulations, these services strike a delicate balance between safeguarding registrant information and ensuring that the necessary data is accessible for legitimate purposes.
