install software updates and reboot but only if no user is logged in

Hello,

I would like to install software updates via ConfigMgr and then reboot the computer but only if no user is logged in. Is that possible?

Thx in advance.

Not directly, no. You would have to suppress reboots and use your own reboot mechanism that performs this check.

In general, though, I'd say this is a bad idea as installing updates without rebooting the system is more or less meaningless. What's wrong with using a longer reboot countdown in ConfigMgr to enable the user to initiate a reboot when it's convenient for them up to a maximum time at which point it will be enforced?
