Microsoft Azure Backup Agent - Billing

I have deleted and remove the backup data as part of removing the MARS agent.

Have close to 3 years of data on the Recovery Service Vaults and I was expecting the billing to come down.

Removal was done 3 days back and I still dont see any changes in my daily billings.

Any ideas ?

In case of MARS agent, first thing you need to delete backup items from the MARS management console. Secondly, clear backup items from recovery services vault. For instructions see this link - https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/backup/backup-azure-delete-vault#delete-backup-items-from-the-mars-management-console

If you still see the billing for the deletes backups, you can contact Azure billing support team by raising a support request. Here is the link - https://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/support/create-ticket/ to create a support request.
