I need assistance on this, after we migrated a shared mailbox to the cloud, on-prem users are unable to access it even they have the right permission . We tried creating the remote mailbox " New-Remotemailbox -Name "Shared mailbox" -Alias sharedmailbox -UserPrincipleName sharedmailbox@contoso.com -Remoteroutingaddress sharedmailbox@contoso.mail.onmicrosoft.com -Shared "
But got the following error msg : The proxy address "smtp: ...@....mail.onmicrosoft.com" is already being used by the proxy addresses or
LegacyExchangeDN of "fcbancorp.ent/Accounts/nonUser mailboxes/...". Please choose another proxy address.
We are running exchange 2016 .
