What is causing the following error and how do I get past it?
Imported .docx, xlsx, pptx files from Win10 20H2 PC to Mac BigSur 11.4 using Migration Assistant
Files import into Users\Shared folder on Mac
Downloaded MS Office 2019 on Mac
Tried to open multiple files on Mac with Office, make edits and then save (tried with docx, xlsx, pptx with same results)
Receive the following alerts:
1) Your changes could not be saved to ‘filename.xlsx' because of a sharing violation. Try saving to a different file.
2) Sorry, we couldn't find /var/folders/j2/p8vdyrk923x17874btmpt1wr0000gn/T/com.microsoft.Excel/TemporaryItems/NSIRD_Excel_eKwebw/DF812000.MACTF. Is it possible it was moved, renamed or deleted?
3) Your changes could not be saved to ‘filename.xlsx', but were saved to a temporary document named 'DF812000.MACTF'. Close the existing document, then open the temporary document and save it under a new name.
I would prefer not to save as a new file.
