what is the Difference in SCCM DP "Content was distributed to distribution point, Details will be available after the server finishes processing the messages.

I have sent package to my Secondary Site server and Two DP's in different location. In the content status Success tab i have two status

  1. Content was distributed to distribution point . Details will be availble after the server finishes processing the messages.

  2. Successfully distributed content. Distribution Manager successfully distributed package "XXXXXX" to distribution point.

Attached the screen shot for reference. Need to understand what does these massages means!

Hi @MohiuddinChy-0483,

Content status message of content was distributed to distribution point is when you redistribute content to the DP.

Content status message of successfully distributed content is the normal status when you deploy content to a DP.

Hi Amandayou-MSFT

Does this means package successfully received by both DP and ready to push to clients?

Hi,

According to the screenshot we provide, the status of content are all success, so it means package is successfully received by both DP and ready to push to clients, meanwhile, we could check distmgr.log to see if package is successfully received by both DP and ready to push to clients, here is the screenshot about distmgr.log, which shows it has distributed the content to DP.
