Error during installation of Azure Storage Explorer

C:Users\<USER>\AppData\Local\Programs\Microsoft Azure Storage Explorer\resources\app\node_modu...\lServicePrincipalCredential.d.ts

An error occurred while trying to rename a file in the destination directory:
MoveFile failed; code 3.
the system cannot find the path specified.

I have the same problem, since the last update. I was trying to uninstall the app and install again, but the problem appears during installation.

You need to install other version, look my comment how i could solve that problem.

Make sure that the currently logged in user has read/write permission on the path C:Users\<USER>\AppData\Local\Programs\Microsoft Azure Storage Explorer\

'Yes, I do have those permissions. I see the same error when I run the installer as an admin too.

I had the same problem and I couldn't solve it, I think the problem is the version of Azure Storage Explorer 1.2 for that reason I decided to download other version, I downloaded the v1.19.1 version, this is the link of the version: https://github.com/microsoft/AzureStorageExplorer/releases/tag/V1.19.1

@RakshithaRamachandra-3880 Storage Explorer 1.12.0 is going to be out of support For more information, See here https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/storage/common/storage-explorer-support-policy-lifecycle.

Also, is this an upgrade or a clean install? If an upgrade, can they try to uninstall the old version first then try to install again.
