Yes no

HI Derek-0806,

PC1:windows 10 edu 2004
PC2:windows 10 enterprise retail 2004

1.Is there any user account logged on PC2?

2.If reboot PC2 and remote this pc again, will the same issue happen?

3.When issue happen, if you remote access from PC1 to PC2 by using local admin account of PC2, will the same issue happen?

4.Please recall when your current issue first happen?
Do current issue happen after we install any update patches?
Could you please run below command and check if update patches cause our issue?
If we suspect update cause our issue, we can try to uninstall patches then check if the issue persist?
get-hotfix

5.Are both PC1 and PC2 joined to the same Azure AD ?
Could you please enter below command on both PC1 and PC2 respectively, then check if we apply the same domain policy?
gpresult /h c:\pc1.html
gpreuslt /h c:\pc2.html

hey so in answer to
1. there is only the one user on the desktop pc that im trying to remote into
2. if i reboot pc it works fine the issue is that it happe3ns randomly after some condition happens and so when i leave work running on the desktop over night and try to access later its seems to be locked in the morning,
3. List item

i havnt tried but i do not believe i can remote from the local admin account to the azure ad joined desktop but ill try in a few
4. issue is not update related as i haven't allowed any updates in the last 3 weeks and i genereally state the updates on a test vm before i push them to my system, as this is a fresh install on the desktop pc about 6 weeks ago its hard to give a time frame start as it seems about 1.5 weeks ago
5. both machines are joined to the same tenant, ill check those two commands and post an update but i believe they'll error out becuase there is no local ad they are exclusively azuread and group policy isnt supported with azure ad machines (at least gpedit.msc isnt) will update once im home though)
