Perf counter : the %1 path could not be found

Hello,

I'm trying to install Sharepoint on a 3 servers farm. But from time to time, the performance monitor crashes on the 3 servers at the same time. Idk why, but it seems like the User defined data collector set is deleted. When I try to add a new one, manually or with the logman command, the system "couldn't found the path specified", and when I try to refresh the server management app, i get a "refresh fail : the %1 path counldn't be found.

The worse part is that, each time I restart my server, the OS crash and enter in "repair mode", which fail every time...

Do you have any idea?

All my servers have IIS installed, and one of the server runs MSSQL

Hi @Marth83-5747 ,

Is there any information or log in event viewer?

Please make sure the following services are enabled:

• Task Scheduler Service
• Remote Procedure Call
• Windows Event Log

Meanwhile, you could try to manually rebuild the performance counter library value to check the result.
