Azure Synapse Analytics - Synapse Pipeline SSIS Integration Runtime Support

Hi Team,

Do we have any roadmap / SLA for having SSIS Integration Runtime support in Azure Synapse Analytics - Synapse Pipeline.

We have a customer requirements, where we have to modernize their existing on-premise MSFT tech stack (SSIS, SSAS, SSRS) with Azure Synapse Analytics to support their future analytics requirements via the unified experience from Synapse Analytics.

We are looking for an option to lift and shift their on-premise SSIS packages to Synapse Pipeline (Like how we have it for Azure Data Factory SSIS Integration Runtime)

Any guidance / help would be much appreciated.

Hello @BalanMurugan-5377,

Thanks for the question and using MS Q&A platform.

Unfortunately, the Azure-SSIS Integration Runtime is not supported in Azure Synapse Analytics.

For more details, refer to Create an Azure-SSIS integration runtime in Azure Data Factory.

Currently, PG is working on this feature and it will be available soon.

I will update this thread once it available. Stay tuned!

Meanwhile, I would suggest you to provide feedback on the same:
