Access 3rd party pr external data added over a sharepoint page

Hi,
An external data which is 3rd party data provided by vendor has been added over a Sharepoint page in a scripteditor webpart. Unfortunately, it stopped working since a week. The issue is very inconsistent and if regreshed multiple times it gets opened and viceversa. Attached is the error screenshot. There has been no activity done on our Sharepoint servers like patching. Also there is a strange issue that it works with in server and outside of server it works only for few.

Also it is a vendor data, so we have very limited access to it. We just inserted the given Iframe code in a scripteditor webpart. We dont have access to edit or remove data.

Can someone kindly help me on this?

Regards,
Susmitha.

Hi,

Thanks for the reply. The issue got resolved as there were few changes on Vendor Network. Vendor team has responded and made a quick fix.

@susmithakatreddy-6036,

From the error message:

"page not found, Check the page address. The page may also have been moved or deleted".

We suggest you confirm with the external data vendor and make sure the page is always accessible.

Also switch to other browsers, clear the browser cache to check if the issue always occurs.

Hi,
Thank you for your email.

We tried switching the browsers and also cleared cache to check if the issue still persists and Yes, the issue is still there.
Earlier it happened to work only in our server and now it gives us inconsistent results after multiple refreshes of the page.
Is there something that I need to check from Sharepoint end and also I found logs which is related to that respective URL(page where this data has been embedded).

attached are the error messages. Kindly help!

@susmithakatreddy-6036,

According to the error log, check as following:

  1. Restart AppFabric Windows Service on all cache servers.

  2. Restart Distributed Cache SharePoint service on all cache servers.

  3. Reset IIS (IISRESET) on all servers in the farm
