Experts,

Wanted to do some tests for alwayson. Does microsoft still provide labs for a specific period where alwayson AG or FCI setups are made available for practice/tests

Hi,

It seems the Microsoft virtual lab is no longer available.

But SQL Server 2019 provides a free developer edition. It includes all the functionality of Enterprise edition, but is licensed for use as a development and test system, not as a production server. You can use this resource to build and configure your Always on availability group/FCI environment.

Pretty sure the microsoft labs are gone now. You can either do your testing on Azure free trial or download evaluations from here.
