Member of Group email is shown

Hi,

When Microsoft allowed to send invites to Microsoft 365 group it was a great feature but there is still one issue.

When a member of the group tentatively accept the meeting then his email address will show which does not serve the purpose of keeping the email hidden and only show the group email.

Hi @JassimAlRahma-9056,

According to my tests in Outlook, when we created a new meeting and invited a Microsoft 365 group, we did receive the response contains the memeber's address instead of the group's address once the member accept the meeting, which is same with yours.

Actually, I think it's quite normal, only if we receive the response contains the specific member's address, we could confirm which member has accepted the meeting, avoid confusion.

Hope that would be helpful to you.

What I mean is for example if you send an invitation to a group email called members@mycompany.com then it will show it correctly but if JadeLiang@mycompany.com did not accept or tentatively accepted or for some other reasons then during the meeting on Teams others can see his emails which is not good because the main reason for sending to a group is that to hide the emails.

Could you share a screenshot with us to know your situation clearly?

I tested your scenario and user can see all participants' email addresses in Teams client as below, no matter to the accept or tentative action.

Besides, receivers can also see the group's information in Outlook.
