Azure remote desktop client issue (error 1033)

We had some issues with some clients. They are using the remote desktop app (updated) and, after subscribing the services, they are unable to connect to the virtual desktops. Checking Microsoft-Windows-TerminalServices-RDPClient/Operational event viewer and found some 1033 errors related with RDPClient_SSL: An error was encountered when transitioning from TsSslStateHandshakeInProgress to TsSslStateDisconnecting in response to TsSslEventHandshakeContinueFailed (error code 0x80004005) and also Component name:CTscSslFilter::StartHandshake::DoHandshake, :: CTscSslFilter::StartHandshake::DoHandshake Failed, hr = 0x0, xResult=0, Error code:0x0.

The user is asked for the credentials and got error like the password is wrong. Checked it a lot of times and it's the valid password. In fact, the user is able to work using the web version and now it's working using this option.

The remote desktop app was uninstalled and reinstalled a couple of times already, also, tried the reset button in the app. There is no stored credentials.

1.Which method does end user remote access the RD session host server?
by using Microsoft remote desktop client for Mac,
by using Microsoft remote desktop client for android,
by using Microsoft remote desktop client for win10,
by using Microsoft store remote desktop?

When we remote access the remote Azure VM, are all methods have the same issue(error 1033)?

2.If we remote access from another Azure VM to problematical target Azure VM, will the same issue happen?

They are using the remote desktop client for windows 10. In Azure, there is a w10 pool virtual machine with fslogix enabled.

Guess that the issue is related only with the app itself because, as told you, they can work with web access smoothly.

The 1033 methods with errors are:
Component name:CTscSslFilter::StartHandshake::DoHandshake, :: CTscSslFilter::StartHandshake::DoHandshake Failed, hr = 0x0, xResult=0, Error code:0x0
Component name:OnDisconnected, :: SL::OnDisconnected, Error code:0x807

And there is a warning code 226
RDPClient_SSL: An error was encountered when transitioning from TsSslStateHandshakeInProgress to TsSslStateDisconnecting in response to TsSslEventHandshakeContinueFailed (error code 0x80004005).

0.Could you please enter winver in command prompt on win10 computer and look the os version and os version number ?[for example windows 10 enterprise 1809 (os build 17763.316)]
Could you please check if the same issue happen on one clean installed win10 computer(with the same OS version as the issue win10)??

1.Is your win10 joined AD domain?

If you are using "remote desktop connection" or "WVD remote Desktop client" ?
Are current issue happen on both "remote desktop connection" or "WVD remote Desktop client"?

Well, the remote IT team formatted the user's computer and the issue was fixed.
