Why does ProcMon 3.83 not allow a choice of the previous toolbar icon set?

I personally think the new toolbar icons are visually ugly and more difficult to determine their toggle status - particularly for people with poor vision - by comparison to the icons used in earlier versions.

(Also, in one fell swoop, all the screenshots have been invalidated in my lovingly prepared previous documentation and visual aids for my students.)

What's the justification for this change to the icons? Why isn't there an option to use the previous icon set?

I agree with this...the icons have been the same for the past 20+ years and I am use to the old way of looking at what icon does what by sight. Now I have to hover over them and figure it out again. Annoying....real annoying.

Agreed. Very annoying and hard to see.

There are hundreds maybe thousand of documents and tutorials out there that have been invalidated in one swoop of a just out of art school or intern UI person thrown some utility they had not idea what it does. Causing thousands of people with a working knowledge of the utility to now fumble with an interface while customers stand over them think or saying "I thought you knew what you were doing". Keep the interns out of the sacred tool collections. They don't generate any direct revenue leave them alone for your front line professional who can't tell a customer to to run DISM and sfc /scannow and if that doesn't work reinstall the O/S . Let them go play with Notepad or WordPad - or finish up the windows 10 UI.

I think in time we'll all get used to the new icons. Typing these missives out probably took more time than it took me to learn the new icons.
