Recover password

Ok, here is a huge problem for me.
I need the OLD Password I had previous to just changing it to log in here!

My computer did an update while I was not sitting at it. Came back to it having a screen stating to restart the computer so the updates would take effect. So clicked on the restart button and walked away while it was performing the restart.

When the screen to give my log in pin # now requested the password! I have no idea what it is since I used the PIN number. It will not allow use of the PIN at all.

So I came over here to log into active and had to change my password since I had no clue what it is.
Go back to the Laptop and naturally it still wants the old Password. Which I do not know what it is! GRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!

So how can I get from you “Active” my old password to open my Laptop up to use?

I have many things I need to do!

HELP ME!

If a microsoft account access problem then also try resetting via the account recovery form

Hi,
One method to solve the "PIN isn't available" error in Windows 10, is to uninstall the latest update.
1. In the login screen hold down the SHIFT key and click Power -> Restart
2. After Restart, click Troubleshoot -> Advanced Options -> Uninstall Updates.
3. Click Uninstall latest quality update.

In addition, here are some posts with the similar issue with yours, just for your reference, you can try the method mentioned in them:

Hope above information can help you.
