Outlook messages do not appear in my regular Inbox, but they do appear in the search folder or when I do a quick search

I have a problem with my Outlook Inbox where I am unable to see all my emails. Every week/2 weeks ( the issue is not always happening at the exact same time), all my emails get "hidden" in my Inbox.

But, I can still find them if I search for a specific name or tag.

The problem started when my company changed from POP3 to IMAP.

I've tried several solutions but none of them work, and I don't know how to proceed further, therefore my post.

The things I have tried:

Reset the filters of my view settings, but they were already set by default.

Opened Outlook with "/cleanviews".

Looked in all other folders like Junk and Unwanted. (When I look at the properties of the mail I find with the search bar, it says that they are still in the "Inbox".)

Rename the OST to OST.old and restart Outlook

I have Outlook 2013, and I do not have the "Focused Inbox", so that cannot be it.

Delete the RoamCache under %localappdata%%MicrosoftOutlook

Hi @BasilLuncx-4425

Considering the issue occurred after you changed the account type , in order to further confirm if the issue is related to your mailbox or Outlook client, if possible, please try to log into your web mail to check if you could see those messages normally there.

If it could work normally in your web mail, the issue may be more related to your outlook client, I noticed that you have cleaned your Outlook views and recreate the outlook data file etc., the issue may not be related to your view settings and local data file. Based on my research, I found corrupted outlook profile may also cause it, it's recommended to create a new Outlook profile to check if the issue has any differences after that(Control Panel> Mail >show profiles>Add> readd your account)

if that's invalid, considering some add-ins may also affect it, in order to avoid it, please try to restart your Outlook in safe mode for testing(windows + R> type "outlook.exe /safe"> enter).

If the issue still exists, please provide us with more information about your issues(such as sepcific outlook client version, test results etc.), so that I could peorform more relevant tests on my environment and perovide you with more targeted suggestions.
