Northwind.xls

About 5 or so years ago I downloaded an Excel workbook that contained all the information of the Northwind Traders database in excel form.

I used this excel file to test a MS-Access VBA program for importing Excel workbooks into an Access database.

Where is it?

Thanks

It's no suprise :) Just 15 minutes work:
- From Access, install the Northwind template
- From Excel > Data > Get Data > From Database > From Microsof Access... > Select the database
- In the Power Query Navigator window > Check Select multiple items
- Select the tables
- At the bottom don't click Load but the little arrow > Load To... > Select Table > Uncheck Add this data to the Data Model
... Done!

Currently, this "Nrothwind.xls" is not available on Microsoft Download Center.
I tried to search it on non-Microsoft websites, like V. Arya suggested in Northwind for Excel?, but i haven't found it yet.

I have to suggest you use other sample files to test the VBA program.

Thanks for your understanding.

Thanks for the answer. I wanted to use the Northwind.xls(x) Excel workbook because it contained all the tables and the data in each table. Basically, the complete database without the relationships.

I there is another similar Excel workbook. I would like to download it as well. I was going to show my brother the Access database I created to solve entry errors.

Thanks,

Thanks, I didn't know how to make changes since I could not find any information for the new Q&A that replaced the normal forums.

No one so far has managed to tell me WHERE the Northwind.xls(x) Excel spread workbook now resides. At one time I could download it from the internet.
