Intune Windows Certificate Service

Hello

We would like to use certificates for Intune enrollment of devices. I understand that there is the option of using SCEP or PKCS. However, someone mentioned that there is a Microsoft cloud certificate service that can issue certificates for this purpose.

Does anyone have any details on what this service is called?

Thanks

Hey I'm not aware of any native MS cloud service for this. Typically, you have to utilize an on-prem PKI and NDES connector etc.
A third-party cloud service for this is SCEPman (www.scepman.com) it comes also with a community edition, so easy to try.

I've written a blog some time ago about it. See here: https://oliverkieselbach.com/2019/07/02/the-easy-way-to-deploy-device-certificates-with-intune/

Oliver

@berket2020 Thanks for posting in our Q&A.

For this issue, I agree with Oliver. I haven't seen there is a Microsoft cloud certificate service that can be used for Intune enrollment of devices.

If you are interested in this feature, it is suggested to feedback in intune uservoice. This is a place to collect customers' requirements and problems.

@OliverKieselbach-MVP is correct here. I'm curious about the source of the info here though; do you recall where you heard this or who you heard it from?
