Support Download Link 404

I'm trying to install an update to my Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1 manually, but I can't install the .msu package due to an error. Windows leads me to this link, and if you scroll to the bottom and click my server version, will lead to this link. Every download link on that page's table leads to a 404. Not sure how else to get around this error. For the record, I'm trying to install this patch manually.

I already posted this in another forum and got a good idea about what's wrong, but I wanted to see if there is another possible solution.

Hi,
According to your link, what you want to install is a security update that addresses the PrintNightmare vulnerability, right?
Related to this update is KB5004951 and KB5004953.

Have you purchased The Extended Security Update (ESU) program?
You can only get the updates after purchasing the ESU.

Since Windows Server 2008 R2 have reached the end of mainstream support and are now in extended support.
If you are installing the update on a device that is running an edition that is not supported for ESU.

This behavior is expected.

You could refer to this known issues in this update here:
https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/topic/july-6-2021-kb5004953-monthly-rollup-out-of-band-b0e3bd48-924b-45c5-8b54-d8317aa62901

So you should verify that you have installed the required updates listed in the How to get this update section before installing the update.

Info about ESU:
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-US/lifecycle/faq/extended-security-updates

Hope above information can help you.

Hey JennyFeng, thanks for all the info/links. I was aware that 2008 was EoL, but I wasn't aware that I needed the ESU to continue receiving security updates. We do not have that, so that would explain everything.

What patch level is it? What update are you trying to install? Have you purchased extended security updates? Support for 2008 R2 came to an end on January 14, 2020 unless you have purchased extended updates.
