Exchange 2019 - July 2021 security update

we are currently running a hybrid exchange scenario

We are on Exchange 2019 CU8

I see that this was released which doesn't address CU8

https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/exchange-team-blog/released-july-2021-exchange-server-security-updates/ba-p/2523421

Does this mean CU8 is vulnerable?
Is CU8 still a supported version?

Thanks

Hi @NP-8916,

As indicated in the last paragraph of this official blog, "last two CUs are supported for Exchange versions that are still within support lifetime". Also in this document, it mentions that "When in Mainstream Support, critical product updates are released as needed on a monthly basis for the most recently released CU and for the immediately previous CU." So in other words, with the release of Exchange 2019 CU10, currently the supported CU for Exchange 2019 is CU10 and CU9.

With the above being said, it's suggested to follow the recommendation in the blog you shared above, that is, install the supported CU, update AD schema, and then apply the July 2021 SU:
