How many Azure storage queue messages can be leased at one time?

I want to take messages from Azure Storage queue in batches, making use of the lease ability.

How many Azure storage queue message can be leased at a maximum? Is there actually a maximum?

@SandervandeVelde42 Lease/Lock duration 30 seconds (default) 7 days (maximum) (You can renew or release a message lease using the UpdateMessage API.)

For more information, please refer to this article: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/service-bus-messaging/service-bus-azure-and-service-bus-queues-compared-contrasted

Hope this helps!

Hello @Sumarigo-MSFT, thanks for your answer.

But how many (concurrent) message leases are supported at the same time on the Azure Storage queue? All messages?

The batch size is 32 messages. Can we have more leases that 32 in one queue?

@SandervandeVelde42 No, (explicitly specifying message count when retrieving messages, up to a maximum of 32 messages)
