SCCM 2103 and SMS Agent , it create every one minute a new Event log and...

Hi,

we have a big important issue with SMS Agent on the Client machine. It created every 90 second a event because of SCCM Agent. If I stopt the Sccm Agent, it does not create any event any more.

The Monitor is flickering

See here

I have really no Idea how I can resolve it.

Several domain joined computers gets these 2 errors error from time to time every 5 seconds:

The Group Policy settings for the computer were processed successfully. New settings from 11 Group Policy objects were detected and applied.

Then following:

Event id: 158

The time provider 'VMICTimeProvider' has indicated that the current hardware and operating environment is not supported and has stopped. This behavior is expected for VMICTimeProvider on non-HyperV-guest environments. This may be the expected behavior for the current provider in the current operating environment as well.

Hi, @MPEG
Thank you for posting in Microsoft Q&A forum.

What is the Event log showing in your client machine?
I checked the solution within the article you linked, did you checked the wuahandler.log like the article mentioned, or check if any other sccm client logs has a lot of activity?

Hi,

If you read my message right, you can see I have posted the message. In the log file wuanhandler.log is everything OK

I read the another thread you posted in windows 10 forum, the two errors are Event ID 158 and 1502, it's really hard to say the relationship to SCCM client agent, now it's recommended to open a support case for a dedicated Support like YuhanDeng-MSFT mentioned in another thread.

Hi,

I have found out, the on the SCCM Server the Bitlocker Management is the reason for all the EVENT ID on the Client machine.
We deploy Bitlocker on the client machine with SCCM. The SCCM install a agent MBAM on the client machine.

If I disable the Agent or uninstall MBAM agent on the Client machine, it created no more EVENT ID 1502 and 158.

I think it is a sync time issue. But I am not sure where can I set the interval synchronize time of SCCM server with Client machine for Bitlocker.

I have set the client policy on the sccm server on 60 min. But the client machine synchronize every one minute.

Any Idea?

Regards

Hi, @MPEG
You may check the deployment of Bitlocker Management on the SCCM server, what's the schedule you configured?
