Thanks for using this forum and posting your query.
There are two ways to connect to on-prem Oracle source. One way is using a self-hosted integration runtime. AFAIK, you don't have to install anything in specific related to Oracle client. The integration runtime provides a built-in Oracle driver. Therefore, you don't need to manually install a driver when you copy data from and to Oracle.. (Note: Please make sure to update to the latest SHIR version as it might have latest bug fixes)
The second way is you can also use the managed virtual network integration runtime feature in Azure Data Factory to access the on-premises network without installing and configuring a self-hosted integration runtime.
