Old QDK results in error "CannotTranslateInputData", "Unable to translate input data in format 'microsoft.ionq-ir.v1' to a format that 'ionq' accepts."

Issue:
Using an older QDK results in the following error:

 "errorData": {
         "code": "CannotTranslateInputData",
         "message": "Unable to translate input data in format 'microsoft.ionq-ir.v1' to a format that 'ionq' accepts. Please ensure that your 'providerId', 'target', and 'inputDataFormat' are all correct and your client SDK is up to date."
     }

There's a new update for the Azure Quantum service that will deprecate an early version of the input format for quantum computing jobs. This will result in some IonQ/Honeywell jobs failing for users with older QDK versions. To resolve this, you'll need to upgrade to the most recent QDK:

Update the Quantum Development Kit (QDK) to the latest version

Update the QDK
The process to update the QDK varies depending on your development language and environment. Select your development environment below.
