alternate adfs forum?

Do we have an alternative adfs forum? After the technet forum moved to Q&A it's been a challenge to get someone's attention and even if someone chimes in good luck with getting additional questions answered.

Understandable that many of the contributors are super busy folks. But not getting the same kind of responses that I used to get back in the technet forum days.

I don't share the same impression. With the concept of tags we can reach more subject matter experts without having to re-post or redirect posters. In my opinion, it is more efficient than the previous platform.

That said, there are some missed posts once in a while depending on the seasonality and how precise the question is.

Regarding my participation in the community based support, it is best effort. I already work full-time with paying customers. If the organizations you work for or with have a support contract, this would be very efficient way for you to seek support on very specialized questions (there are some contracts in which the customers can open an unlimited number of advisory cases).

Also, everyone has some level of valuable expertise. Unfortunately most of the traffic seem to be from people asking questions. It takes a little time for those same people to come back and give a try at answering others. In that regard, this new platform is still a little greener, but I am very confident that's going the right direction.

If you feel one of your questions didn't find the right asnwer, you can ask for an update on the post itself. Sometimes things get missed because they are not in the first or second page anymore.

Ultimately, you can tag subject matter experts in your post. For example, if you see a similar topic being addressed by a community expert, you can then tag the person in your question with @username. Feel free to tag me! I might not be answering right away but I'll receive a notification and will do my best to follow up when I can.
