how do I get powershell python to stop opening windows store?

The python command in windows powershell takes me to the Microsoft store despite python being installed, it insists I install python from the windows store how do I bypass this?

Thanks for your question.

Please try to go to "Manage app execution aliases" in Apps & Features, then unticking the "python.exe" App Installer box.
