How to change my mobile number

Hi, my Azure AD belong to a company. How to change my mobile number in Azure AD. as I was register my old number on it. There is no way to receive any sms from the old number. I was checked to my company's helpdesk. He replied that there is no way to change my mobile number if I cannot receive any sms / call from my old number.

Hello,

Are you saying that you can't even login to your azure ad account?
If you are able to login to Azure AD account now, you can follow the steps to change the phone number by your own

  1. Login to myapps.microsoft.com.

  2. Click on Profile picture on right hand top corner of the portal.

  3. Click 'Edit Security Info' and another page will open where you can change the phone number

As of 6/2/2021 this is no longer correct.

@LamYiuSum-7626 Considering you are locked out and cannot login as you have your old number mentioned for MFA. Your admin should be able to change the phone number for you. They can go this this place and change it to your current phone number :

This should unblock you if you are locked. However if you can login and just need to change your phone number. You can use Myapps portal to edit your number.

@vipulsparsh-MSFT The problem is I don't know which parties can help to change, I was checked with my helpdesk, but no one can help me.

Show the above screenshot to the helpdesk, they would know how to change it. Any user with Security Administrator or Global Administrator role can do it. Help Desk Operators usually do not have this permissions and that is why they can not do it. But a Global Admin and Security admin can. You can may be take this up with them after taking the information from helpdesk.
