Toggle between calendar and email in Outlook 365

Hi, I am using desktop Outlook 365 version 2106 Build 14131.20320

Typically I toggle from email to calendar and back using the navigation bar at the bottom of screen.
When toggling back to email, the upper body of the screen shows the calendar outline, but with no appointment text.
Sliding the mouse pointer upwards will restore the email display.

This is a Microsoft Surface Pro 4: i7, 16 GB Ram, and the Iris Graphics 540 is up-to-date.
This problem recently started approx 3 weeks ago.

Tried running Outlook repair, however, the process hung and did not complete.
Ran Microsoft Support and Recovery Assistant to completely remove Office.
Then performed a fresh Office install.

This has not resolved the problem.

Hi @HarveyHope-0036 ,

Welcome to our forum!

I noticed that you are working with an early version of Outlook, it's recommended to update it to the latest version to get a better user experience.

According to my tests on Outlook 365 version 2106 Build 14131.20320, I could swich from email to calendar and back using navigation bar normally. Conisdering your issue occurred recently, have you performed any specific operations before it(such as install any third-party programs or add-ins)?

Due to the issue occurred with your navigation bar, in order to avoid the interference of any customized settings, it's recommended to reset your navigation bar to check if the issue has any difference after that.

If the issue still exists, as I know, some add-ins may affect it, please try to restart your Outlook in safe mode to check if it could work normally there(windows + R >type "Outlook.exe /safe">enter), if you could work normally in safe mode, it's suggested to disable your add-ins gradually to check which cause the issue(File>add-ins>COM addins, Go>uncheck the add-in to disable it and restart your Outlook)

If that's also valid, considering corrupted outlook profile may also cause it, please try to recreate a new Outlook profile to check if it could work for you(control panel>Mail> show profiles> add>readd your account).

Hope that would be helpful to you.

JadeLiang, sorry for my delayed response.

My Outlook 365 is up-to-date: today it shows version 2107 Build 14228.20226 Click-to-Run.
I have done the suggested troubleshooting and there is no improvement.

FYI ... I have also posted this issue in Microsoft Community.
https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/msoffice/forum/all/office-365-outlook-calendar-appears-in-in-box/7651b1d8-670c-4533-a525-ffee7a0181dc

There is also another community user experiencing the same issue, still no solution available.

Perhaps you can follow-up with MSFT.

Hi again,

Today I rolled back MS Office 365 to May 24th version 2105 Build 14026.20246.
However, performing the toggle from email-calendar-email resulted in the same display issue.
Here's a screenshot:

Perhaps this is not an Outlook issue ... and possibly a Windows 10 issue.
Please advise.
