Outlook use HMA on one profile, doesnt use it on another one

Hello,
im experiencing issue, where my primary account doesnt switch to HMA (in Outlook connection status it shows "Autologon*" instead of "Bearer*")

When i create new profile (im adding another mailbox to my outlook), it DOES use HMA.

Recreating profile didnt work, reinstalling office didnt work, all other user accounts in company use HMA - there should be no problem with settings on Organization level.

Sometimes i test some settings, i might set up some policy on my mailbox/account preventing to use HMA. I have no clue how to find the source of my problem, why my particular mailbox dont switch to HMA and other mailboxes have no problem.

Some tips?

Does it use Modern Auth if you try it on another machine?

Hi @BashCZ

Could you please tell more information about your environment, such as your Exchange server version...

And HMA is an all-or-nothing solution. Either everyone in your organization uses HMA, or none does. It seems that the issue occurs only for your primary account. Like Andy asked above, please try login your account on anothor client and verify the result again. We could determine whether the issue is related to your account or outlook client.

You could also try moving the user to another database which will repair the issue of the mailbox. Waiting for your update here!

thanks for your assistance.

Ex: 2016 latest CU hybrid configuration (mailboxes are on-prem only)

I will be able to test connection from another computer on Monday.. Please wait for further informations.

Hello,
i made we performed test from another computer, it shows Bearer* on my mailbox.. so its not something i can solve on Exchange / mailbox side, it looks like I need it to solve on my computer (without recreating whole user profile I wish)

So,
on my computer:
my mailbox uses Autologon*, other mailboxes shows Bearer*.

I cleaned up Credential manager, created new Outlook profile, reinstalled Office 365 .. nothing works.. Recreating whole user profile will be my last attempt...

Hello,
I have Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Exchange // AlwaysUseMSOAuthForAutoDiscover set on 1.

Key HKCU\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Office\15.0\Common\Identity\EnableADAL is NOT present.

From now ill be OOF for 2 weeks, i will not be able to post any new updates untill then.
