portal.azure.com - Login errors - GetEarlyUserData

Hi

I have been unable to access the azure portal over the last few days.
Looking at DevTools im seeing the following generating errors: (sending as text as unable to upload screenshots...)

400 Bad request - https://portal.azure.com/api/DelegationToken?feature.cacheextensionapp=false&feature.internalgraphapiversion=true&feature.tokencaching=true

400 Bad request - https://portal.azure.com/api/Settings/Select?feature.internalgraphapiversion=true&feature.iris=true&feature.irismessagelimit=1&feature.showservicehealthalerts=true

400 Bad request - https://management.azure.com/batch?api-version=2015-11-01

500 Internal server error - https://portal.azure.com/api/Portal/GetEarlyUserData?feature.internalgraphapiversion=true&feature.iris=true&feature.irismessagelimit=1&feature.showservicehealthalerts=true

500 Internal server error - https://portal.azure.com/api/Portal/GetLazyUserData

My default browser is Edge but i also have Chrome and Opera.

Here is what I've tried:
Self diagnostic - ran the checks, all fine
Cleared cache cookies
Restarted browser
Tried on Chrome
Restarted machine
Updated machine

Final attempt in desperation - use Opera which runs in VPN as default and.... it works!
I checked DevTools and none of the above endpoint where showing errors.

I toggled the VPN off and refreshed.... the errors reappear.

Does anyone know what is wrong?

I have the same issue. I did not log in for three weeks. Colleagues who logged in regurarly do not face this problem.
I do not use any VPN. I tried with Chrome, Edge and Firefox, after clearing all browser data... I have the same network and windows setup as three weeks ago, when it worked.

Update: I can still login on other devices, with the same user and network devices.

Update 2: It works when disabling my antivirus (same here: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/68523169/cant-log-in-to-azure-portal).

@ChristophHuber-2108
just disabled my antivirus and refreshed the page it works!
re-enabled the antivirus and it still works...
having read up more on my antivirus, it is acting as an SSL proxy which may have been the cause of the issue
for reference i was using Bitdefender

thanks for the assist!

I have exactly same issue on my laptop. Funny thing - on desktop or mobile connected to same wifi (= same public IP) I can log in without any problem with same account.

Three days ago I completly format and reinstall laptop - login to azure portal works. Today after installing old openvpn client (2.x) same issue again.

I tried uninstall openvpn client, reset firewall rules to default, reset browser to default, reset network adapters to default, search for and delete any openvpn certificate, create new local account - nothing work :(.

IMO there must be some mess created by old openvpn client, but I have no clue what it is and for some reason azure gateway VPN (which I sometimes need for work) doesn't work in newer versions of openvpn client (3.x).
