Azure AD Connect Health for Sync is not working after Azure AD Connect agent upgrade

Hi,

Azure AD Connect is installed on Windows server 2012 R2. Last month, we have upgraded AAD Connect to 1.6.4.0, and after that AAD Connect health agent (v3.1.97.0) stopped working. Sync errors, Latency of sync operations is showing old data in Azure Portal.

Please advise a solution for fixing this issue. Thank you

Hi @PamisettyHariprasad-9140 , has it not been working since you updated or is it recently not working? I suggest re-installing it and seeing if the issues persist. Please let me know.

Hi @JamesHamil-MSFT,

Health agent stopped working immediately after the update. I have installed same update in both Staging and Active servers, I don't know how to check if the Health agent is working as Staging server will not export the data. I have checked with Firewall team and there is no block from their end. I also ran test-AzureADConnectHealthConnectivity and all checks showed success.

I would like to do all possible troubleshooting before re-installing AAD Connect.

Please help me with the below queries:
1. Is there any way to check if Health agent is working in Staging Server like PowerShell cmdlet/GUI?
2. Can we resolve this issue by re-registering the health agent?

Hi @PamisettyHariprasad-9140 , we're going to need to look at your environment to see what's wrong here. I would suggest re-registering the health agent just to see if this works. But I think that there's something else causing these issues.
