Office 2019 - key expiring

Hello,

My name is Rafael, I work at the UNESC (University of the Extreme South of Santa Catarina) in Brazil. We have some licenses of the Office 2019 Pro Plus and they work as fine, but after a while the licenses seems to expire. However if we activate Office with the same licenses it works. My doubt: is it normal the licenses expiring during a time? And can we change it for do not expire?

Thanks in advance.

Hi @RRMattos-3358,
Did you install other Office application before?
How long did you get the expire information?
Could you provide the detail key expire information?
I suggest you try to check if you have other version of Office license in PC:
1. Open Command Prompt as an Administrator
2. Type cscript "%ProgramFiles%\Microsoft Office\Office16\"ospp.vbs /dstatus or cscript "%ProgramFiles(x86)%\Microsoft Office\Office16\"ospp.vbs /dstatus

Note: The opss.vbs script is located in the C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office16 folder. If you installed the 32-bit version of Office on a 64-bit operating system, go to the C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Office\Office16 folder. For Office 2016, Office 365 and Office 2019, the name of folder is Office16. Press Enter.

Then you can post the result here, I'm glad to help you.

Hi @emizhang-msft

Did you install other Office application before?
No, we didn't install other Office version before.

How long did you get the expire information?
We didn't get any message but what I noticed is over time (months generaly) when I open an Office aplication like Word, Excel, etc, sometimes it opens asking for activation, since it was already activated.

I suggest you try to check if you have other version of Office license in PC:
I tried the command but got a message "unsupported command passed"

Hi @RRMattos-3358,
If the command cannot use, did you install Office in C drive?
There are 2 command in my steps, did you paste all to CMD?

For 64-bit version Office run this:
cscript "%ProgramFiles%\Microsoft Office\Office16\"ospp.vbs /dstatus

or

For 32-bit version Office run this:
cscript "%ProgramFiles(x86)%\Microsoft Office\Office16\"ospp.vbs /dstatus

Hello,

Sorry for replying late but yes I've installed Office in C drive and yes, I've paste the 2 commans separately in CMD and Powershell, both return the same message.
But okay, I'll think in another solution, thanks.
