VM Creation - Yes or No Radio Button doesn't appear under Licensing - Windows 10 Pro/Ent

Hello,

I have tried creating a VM with Windows 10 Pro image on Azure. It is not showing "yes" or "no" option to choose whether I have license or not. It also doesn't appear for Windows 10 Ent image. This was fine until a week ago whenever I tried creating a VM. Also, note that the option does appear when I choose the image of Windows server 2012/2016/2019. I need a resolution at the earliest. Can you add provide the exact template name please

I tested it now using "Windows 10 Pro, Version 1809" and I get the option of using licence under the question "Already have a Windows 10 Enterprise E3/E5 license or Window Virtual Desktop license?"

Thanks for your efforts but please note that my question is different.

If you refer to my attachment and refer to 1st screenshot. When you choose your image as any Windows Server (1st screenshot), it will ask whether I have licence or not with"Yes" or "No" radio buttons under "Licensing" section. Now, If I choose "Yes", it will show the message with a check box like the one you have pasted in your response ("Already have a Windows 10 Enterprise E3/E5 license or Window Virtual Desktop license?") otherwise you can leave it as "No" (default choice) and move on.

In the case of Windows 10 Pro image (2nd screenshot), the radio button doesn't appear and hence, I can't confirm that I don't have a license and need one. Until a week ago, the radio buttons used to appear for both the images but now, it appears only for Win server and not for Win 10 Pro / Ent.

Even if I optout for checking the box by confirming that I already have a license, it is throwing an error message at the time of validation.

So, this is the scenario that prevents me from creating VM with Windows 10 Pro image. Please help.

Hi,

Do as follows:

1. Go to + Create a resource.

2. In the search box, search for "Microsoft Windows 10" and then hit Enter.

3. You will be automatically redirected to the Microsoft Windows 10 page, there select your Windows 10 version and then click Create.

4. As you've mentioned, there is no Licensing for the virtual machine:

This might be a graphical bug or something, but you can go to the Advanced tab:

5. On the virtual machine generation, switch to Generation 2, then switch back to Generation 1:

6. Now go back to the Basic tab (the first tab) of the virtual machine creation:

You should now see the licensing option:
