Better to create a support request for Billing related issues and creating this is FREE. Support team should check the issue from backend and help with it

Hi @sebastianolchawa-9528

You can Pause and resume compute in dedicated SQL pool via the Azure portal.

If you want to remove future charges, you can delete the dedicated SQL pool.
Please refer- https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/synapse-analytics/sql-data-warehouse/pause-and-resume-compute-portal

Accually the very person DID support me with an email that was very close for solving the issue.
Let me clarify - i did not understood the very fact that sql pool have to be STOPED, regardles in azure synapse studio is on or off.
Now, the cost managament has, as i understand, some latency with the amount of cash own to MS, so my concern was - i did delete the whole azure synapse with sql pools, and the bills came on.
IIF in 6hours (as i have counted correctly) the billing will surpase the amount i own MS (amount value that was given to me by the tech support via mentioned email) - Then i will have a problem.
So can I take the liberty and watch the azure cost mamnagment and see if it will surpass the billing amount?

Second thing is the billing itself - i think the pricing foe sql dedicated pool is not all that clear for newcomners to the service. I had absolutley no interest for keeping it on for so long, it was only for learning process.

Well i will sen You the emial, it is better to clarify issues n the spot.

Thank You for this post.
