I recently updated our SCCM CB version from 1810 to 2006 . After this upgrade I notice that our win10 1909 task sequence is not working.
I see generic error code 0x80004005 in smsts logs. Anything else I should look at ?

0x80004005 is very generic error code, it can be anything. I suggest you learn monitor the TS process and try to understand the root cause what might happen.

Hi @Rahulsingh-9504,
Agree with yannara, error 0x80004005 is a generic error.
If during the OSD the task sequence failed at the very initial step.
Task Sequence fails with the following error message. An error occurred while retrieving policy for this computer (0x80004005). For more information, please contact your system administrator or helpdesk operator.
To resolve this issue one must check the clock in the BIOS of the affected machine. Ensure that the time in BIOS matches the time in the forest where the SCCM server is located. In other words ensure the time settings are same with both SCCM and PXE client.
