Azure storage account pricing

Hi

In azure storage account in FileShare & blob storage, does it charge for actual data stored or the size I took. For example, I created a storage account and created FileShare
with 5 TB size but stored only 200 GB data.

So do I get billed for the size or the stored data?

Thanks

Hi @BiswajeetKumar-6788 ,

you should be billed for:

  • 200 GB data usage

  • Redundancy options

  • Transactions and data transfer

At least that's my understanding of the pricing with Azure storage standard tier.

For both FileShare & blob its standard, so It will billed only for 200 GB right and the redundancy options, right?
