Directly connect/join local machines to Azure AD without onpremise AD

Hi All,

Can i connect local machines directly to AAD without on-premise AD?

If possible please point me to the specific articles.

Yes, you can connect local machines ( Windows 10 devices) directly to AAD by using Azure AD joined.

thank you for your quick response.

  1. I had to do some few tweaks on my A portal also for that to work.


  2. I tried to add linux virtual machines but that was a hustle, any tips on how to go about? this VMs are also on premise running ubuntu.
    --Any recommended articles ?
