Teams Private Channel Invite Groups

Hello

We use Teams in our school / university.

Teachers used groups created automatically by SDS (School Data Sync) to adapt their classes/teams as needed.

Some created a group manually. And they divided the class into channels on the same team.
But as they said, the option to add a group to a private team no longer appears (recently). Being necessary to add one by one.

You can tell if you have any option or way to correct it.

I saw that the hide option of the GAL (Global Address List) in the SDS is now checked by default (HiddenFromAddressListsEnabled).

I changed it by powershell. But that option only corrected to go back to viewing the groups in the calendar. Many teachers use it for meeting with classes.

I thought this might be the case above. But not.

Thanks

Hi @RENAN-5852

Do you mean you cannot add the exist group to your private Team?

Do you have any operations before this problem happened?

If you create a public Team in Teams client, could you add them normally?

To exclude the client issue, it also recommends you try to use Teams web client to see if this issue can be reproduced.

Hi,

no, I believe it was some update.

I don't think it was clear in the previous message.

This happens on channels in groups.

In the general channel it is possible to add. In other channels no.

In adding team members, when writing, only users appear in the list. Groups are not found.

Users said this was possible a few months ago.

Hi @RENAN-5852

So can we understand that you want to add the group in Teams channel, right?
