Taskbar move to primary monitor after sleep

Hello,

I have 2 screens, with the windows taskbar set on my secondary screen.
Whenever my monitors go into sleep mode, when waking up, the windows taskbar moves back on my primary screen.
This is not because my secondary screen "disconnects" when in sleep, as I didn't have this issue with my previous primary screen (which died few weeks ago), the secondary screen is still the same as before.

Any idea ?

System : Win10 64bits up to date
Primary Screen : Samsung 34'' LED ODYSSEY G5 LC34G55TWWUXEN
Secondary Screen : BenQ RL2455

Hi,
In my quick test with following steps, I was unable to reproduce your issue with same version monitors.
Kindly check if any differences than your configuration.
1.Go to Taskbar settings and uncheck "show taskbar on all displays"
2."Unlock" taskbar and move to the secondary monitor than locked.
3.Click power button and choose sleep.
4.Resign on the desktop by touch keyboard and find the locked taskbar is still showing in the secondary monitor.

Moreover, is there any group policy settings have been configured for the taskbar?
Will the same behavior occurred if you exchanging both monitors?

Hello,

Reading your answer make me realize I didn't describe properly the problem.
It's not "whenever my COMPUTER goes into sleep mode" but "whenever my MONITORS go into sleep mode".
My apologies.

Anyway, I did check your steps 1 and 2, and my parameters are already as you requested.
Regarding group policies, I believe it's used id domains, and this is my home computer.

Hi,

1.When taskbar moved to the primary screeon, is it in locked status?

2.As i mentioned before, have you tried to exchange the sequence of primary and secondary monitor to verify if issue persists?

Best Regards,
Jenny
