Teams/Linux: We ran into a problem. Reconnecting…

Since a couple of months teams connection doesn't work very well. Sometimes it appears this message on top of the client, saying: "We ran into a problem. Reconnecting..."

When this message is appearing and, sometimes, also when is not appearing, messages comes with a huge delay (sometimes seconds, sometimes minutes), and usually the message on top shows a link that suggests me to "Refresh" the application. Clicking on that link, Teams restarts. This problem doesn't occur on Web Browser, neither on Android App, only on Linux client (current version is 1.3.00.13653). I tried with VPN and without VPN, same problem.

Here you are logs: https://1drv.ms/u/s!AlSiIlAYIEShdnVklE5EZQ4hRa0?e=aGvYhr

Hi @GiuseppeSenese-2976

According to your description, it seems there is some issue happened in Teams for Linux client. To troubleshoot this issue, could you try to run the following command to clear your client issue to by following this command?

rm -r ~/.config/Microsoft/Microsoft\Teams

Moreover, I did a test in my environment (Version is 1.4.00.13653)and it works well. You could try to update the client version to the newest and login again.

I've already tried it, uninstalling completely the app and removing the cache, following this steps:

1) Purging app (sudo apt purge teams)
2) rm -rf ~/.config/Microsoft Teams - Preview
3) rm -rf ~/.config/Microsoft/Microsoft\ Teams
4) Installed Microsoft Teams deb from here:

5) Login

Problem occurs again.

Version is 1.4.00.13653.

I've also reported the problem from app.

What is your Linux operation system version?

I will try to check it in my environment based on your Linux version.
